Since the 1860’s, we have participated in nearly every major land asset victory.
The Past Meets The Future…
The Legacy Begins
The Viele Family has over six generation of Land Surveyors within its history. Our family has always been at the forefront of innovation and exploration, as the needs of our society changed.
The Viele Map
One of the crowning achievements of our specialty came in 1865 when under President Lincoln, Egbert L. Viele created the Viele Map. A complete layout Survey of the Manhattan which is still used today.
The Evolution of Surveying
As the needs of society has evolved, so to has the Surveying field as a whole. However, one thing that has remained constant is the need to access and monitor the usage and interaction between humans and natural resources.
The Legacy Continues.
As we move into this next phase of our evolution, one thing that remains constant is the need to create a sustainable society. One that works alongside the natural environment, thus allowing for further generation have accessibility to these resources.
A New Approach
Through our knowledge of surveying fundamentals, we have created an entirely new approach that combines cutting edge remote sensing techniques with the latest scientific methodology.
Creating Tomorrows World, Today
Through the use of integrating the principles and technologies of the surveying field with new remote sensing techniques, we are perfectly positioned to push this new sustainable society forward than ever before.
